About Our Speaker

Alison Francis

Alison Francis joined Costco in 1997 and has held various management positions. She earned a Marketing degree from Oakwood University and an MA in Human Resources Management with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion from Georgetown University. Alison became VP, Chief Diversity Officer in 2022 after serving as AVP in the same role. She completed the Executive Leadership Program at Seattle University's Albers School of Business in 2024. Alison has led Costco's global DEI strategy, implemented a diversity talent management dashboard, and advanced initiatives supporting employee diversity. She believes inclusion stems from engaging with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
